Personal data we process

CNC AutoDoor B.V. may process personal data about you because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself, for example by filling in a contact form, requesting a quote or subscribing to our newsletter on our website.

CNC AutoDoor B.V. may process the following personal data:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your address details
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Your IP address
  • Your company name and, where applicable, VAT number
  • Details of the CNC machine(s) for which you request a quote or support

Why CNC AutoDoor needs your data

CNC AutoDoor B.V. processes your personal data in order to contact you by telephone if you request this, and/or to reach you in writing (by email and/or by post) if you cannot be reached by telephone.

In addition, CNC AutoDoor B.V. may use your personal data in the context of performing an agreement entered into with you — typically the supply, delivery and after-sales support of servo-controlled automatic door openers for CNC machines, including quotations, order handling, shipping, warranty and technical support.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we use your email address to inform you about our products and about events at which our solutions are demonstrated. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.

How long CNC AutoDoor retains your data

CNC AutoDoor B.V. does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. If no agreement is concluded with you, your data will be retained for no longer than one year.

Where a statutory retention obligation applies — for example the seven-year retention period for financial and administrative records under Dutch tax law — that period takes precedence.

Sharing with third parties

CNC AutoDoor B.V. only provides your personal data to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.

Where third parties process personal data on our behalf — such as our hosting provider, email and newsletter platform, accounting software supplier, carriers and logistics partners, and our North American office — we conclude a data processing agreement with them to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.

Because CNC AutoDoor B.V. also operates from the United States, your data may be shared with our North American office where this is necessary to handle your request or order. Such transfers take place on the basis of the appropriate safeguards required under the GDPR.

Recording website visits

General visitor data is recorded on the CNC AutoDoor website, including your computer’s IP address, the time of the request and the data sent by your browser. This data is used for analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website. CNC AutoDoor B.V. uses this information to improve how the website works. This data is anonymised as far as possible and is not provided to third parties.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

CNC AutoDoor B.V. uses Google Analytics, deployed via Google Tag Manager, to track how users use the website and how effective our advertising campaigns are.

We may also use remarketing advertisements based on your visit to our website.

The information obtained in this way, including your computer’s address (IP address), is transferred to Google and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide reports on the website to CNC AutoDoor B.V., and to offer its advertisers information on the effectiveness of their campaigns.

CNC AutoDoor B.V. has no influence over this. CNC AutoDoor B.V. has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained via CNC AutoDoor B.V. for other Google services.

The CNC AutoDoor website uses a reliable SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands.
